Next February 11th. and 12th. one of the most magical places in the city will be populated by many small young adventurers who will compete in musical experiments, creative workshops for the recovery of broken objects and games to test their own ability to communicate non-verbally. But not all. Children and adults will enjoy to imagine and then draw “as they are done inside body”, they will attend screenings of interactive websites, they will color posters and slogans to celebrate, in a world where we speak only and always of money, the word “free”, they will unleash in warriors’ gym classes, they will prepare succulent meals for dolls and puppets, and reflect on the why and the history of the Mafia in Italy, in order to learn how to build little by little their own sense of justice.
Uovokids is this: a multidisciplinary festival dedicated to contemporary culture and creativity. Born from an idea of Uovo, international project that promotes the search for new forms of expression related to generational trends, in cooperation with the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci, Uovokids is amix of performances, concerts, dj sets and workshops curated by artists and creatives not used to work with and for children, who for once devote their knowledge and their skills to an audience curious as much as difficult to conquer. A contemporary way of creating hybrid forms of communication, on the border between art performances and stage plays. Challenge is significant, but counting the festival is already in its second year, the premises are more than positive. For sure PIZZA won’t be missing!
