Federica Zambion and Simona Citarella, who has created the WOK Store in Milan, have met Ritchie, the owner of the creative studio and concept store Triple Major, and later, they gave life to La Grande Abbuffata (The Big Feast), a collaboration aimed to the opening of a pop-up temporary store in Beijing.
WOK’s duo has cured the selection of the Italian designers, which has involved as the protagonists Cor Sine Labe Doli, Il Sistema degli Oggetti, Lika, Simona Vanth, Uppercut (Giorgio Di Salvo) and Vivetta. Besides promoting their collection abroad, their brands have the occasion of realizing a capsule collection SS 2012 Men/Women in limited edition, inspired by the famous film La Grande Abbuffata (The Big Feast, 1973) by Marco Ferreri. Lara Piccirillo, collaborator of WOK, assisted by Simona Citarella and Valentina Cameranesi, made the special printings that guide the dialogue between the designers.
La Grande Abbuffata is available at the Triple Major Beijing and online at Farfetch.com, which is the partner in the e-commerce of the project, until 30th June 2012.
The association of these two stores will start again in September in the occasion of the Milanese fashion week; Tipe Major will take a selection of Chinese brands to Milan for WOK.
