During the heated controversy, explanatory and trivial at a time, between the digital and the nostalgic paper format supporters, the editorial applications for iPad are rapidly increasing. Being aware that the future is still unknown and it is hard to make something interesting nowadays, the Fortino Editions founder Michela Arfiero and the designer Giordano Pozzi give life to Fruit of the Forest: an experimental six-month free magazine of arts and design that is entirely conceived and designed for iPad. A motley team is at the helm of the project that blends different points of view, giving that today identity doesn’t match a sole idea any longer. In a multitude of voices and views from all over the world, the collaborators of Fruit of the Forest come from diverse pulsing centres of the planet: Milan, Beirut, Tokyo, and Los Angeles, New York. On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the special Italian issue of FOTF, which name is going to be “Frutti di Bosco” – Fruits of the Forest, will be launched at spazio Morris with special contributions by Sabrina Ciofi, Milovan Farronato, Chiara Fumai, Candidate, and a new publication of articles such as the interview to Lapo Binazzi, co-founder of the group’s radical design UFO.
