Boîte is a unique freepress that contains art lessons, interviews and essays. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s Boîte-en-valise, it is a project curated and directed by Federica Boràgina and Giulia Brivio, respectively art historian and project manager at Fiorucci Art Trust. The latest “box” is dedicated to Fluxus art movement, presenting the writings of high personalities and artist’s works. «On each issue we offer space to people who know and have studied the theme, prefering a historical approach» – tells Giulia – «to realise issue n.9 we collaborated with Daniela Ferrari, the curator of one of the most important collections of Fluxus art at Mart museum, in Rovereto». In the last issue you can also find: writings from Giorgio Bonomi, Paolo Bolpagni, and exclusive interviews with artist Luc Fierens and Tony Allotta, one of the young artists now occupying Teatro Valle in Rome. Boîte is an irresistible niche product printed in free papers collected in 250 cartoon boxes, all numbered and distributed in exclusively selected locations. Inside you will find also some little objects chosen by the authors or the artists. In Milan you can find “the box” at Viafarini DOCVA, AR.RI.VI. and Solo Vinili e Libri concept store; in Rome at ArBiQ, in Monza at Galleria Cart and in Ljubljana (Slovenia) at MoTA Museum of Transitory Art. A digital version is also downloadable at the official website: www.boiteonline.org
